Was in on the home computer revolution mid 70's to early 80's and now I want to be part of the 3d printer revolution!

First print on my [Mendel](https://reprap.org/wiki/Mendel) on **July 26th, 2010** (started building Mendel Jan 2010). A good print quality was achieved in Dec 2010.

I am still building the [HEXAGON](https://wiki.fablab-karlsruhe.de/doku.php?id=projekte:2015:hexagon_v2:hexagon_v2) Delta 3d printer designed by Gerd Keller (a member of the fablab Karlsruhe - https://fablab-karlsruhe.de).

Have been using an [Alfawise U30 3d printer](https://pevly.com/alfawise-u30-review/) since **March 2019**. At 159.30€ how can I go wrong! Super quality, small footprint. You need to make some of the mods with the tag "U30" for example the bigger bed knobs and SD card adapter holder to attach to the display.

Just received my [Anycubic Photon Ultra](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/anycubic-official/photon-ultra/description) DLP resin printer on **March 23, 2022**. A whole new learning curve for liquid resin printing!

On October 22, 2023 had to replace the print head on my Alfawise U30. Now working like a champ again after 4 years of flawless service!
