This is my second guitar(here you can fine the H.R. Giger model) project inspired by Lovecraft this time, in particular for the Godfish and the Necronomicon sculpt of it.
This model was made entirely in Zbrush apart from an optimisation phase in Rhino (thanks to The Legend Cemal) in order to cut more precisely the jointed areas.
In fact there are 8 different parts: 6 for the body, one volume cover and one for the humbuckers area in the center of the instrument.
In order to finish this project I had to order few components from Amazon, so here you can find the links that you need if you want to spend around 100 hours of your time to print your own custom guitar :D
Printed in Delta wasp and Makerbot Replicator 2: 20% infill for 4 external long parts on the side of the body 40% infill for the 2 middle parts for the humbuckers area, that need to be printed horizontally to have much stronger layers( the central-bottom part printed in Makerbot because of the size) 15%infill for the volume cover 10%infill for the pick up area (this one was printed in Makerbot Replicator 2)
