A Mypo armband user can perform several hand movements and effortlessly and wirelessly control a PC. We have implemented this technology into our prosthesis to create a new myoelectric-controlled arm prosthetic, the Mypo 2.0, based on our previous Mypo (Myo + Po).

This is ultimately a prototype. Although we have successfully tested it with a few users, size and measurements for different users haven’t been taken into account yet. The files and images posted correspond to a right arm. Files can be mirrored and sized to fit a specific user.

Sliced in Simplify3D and printed on a FlashForge Creator and a custom 20x40cm reprap. All parts printed in PLA with regular settings. Automatically generated support is added where needed. The palm and fingers have the same settings as the regular Flexy-Hand from gyrobot. Filaflex filament was used for the flexible hinges.
The base, cover, and tricep are thermoformed (heated and reshaped).
