This is a scimitar style sword I modeled for my Nyssa al Ghul cosplay. She's one of the characters in the CW Arrow TV show. The same sword is also used by some other characters in the Assassins Guild.
There are also parts that you can use to make a sheath for the sword, but you will need to glue these together. I used a strong fabric as a lining/binding and then covered the result in faux leather. You'll have to figure out where to drill holes to attach the sheath to a belt. I used pop rivets to attach the straps.
Cosplay photo captured by Fablegraph3D at Dragon Con 2019 in Atlanta Georgia. It's the same photo 3 times, once in 2D and two different stereoscopic versions for 3D viewing.
The compound bow and some other parts of the cosplay (knife, wrist guards, quiver, arrow fletchings and nock etc) are also 3D printed, so I may add more objects in the future, if there's interest.
The blade is split into two parts for easier printing. Print slow for high quality. The blade parts can be joined using a threaded rod, but I found that the threads do not necessarily line up perfectly, so it either ends up too tight or you leave a gap before the final rotation. As an alternative, you can use the small square profile and round bits and glue the parts together.
The blade attaches to the hilt using neodymium magnets that I glued into the hilt. I think I used 40mm M5 screws, but they might have been 45mm long (I can't check now). The second photo shows how the connection works.
I used silver PLA for all the parts, which I then painted using spray paints.
