This is a fully 3d printed precision screwdriver for 4mm/0.125 inch bits (bits are not). With a pocket protective case that uses 1.75 mm filament as hinges. Everything is designed not to need support material.
The screwdriver handle and cap take roughly an hour to print. The case takes 4 to 5 hours depending on the print settings. (I printed it at 0.2 mm layer height and 80 mm/s speed.)
The case is made up of two pieces that print on its back. they slot together with two hinges that then need to have 1.75 mm filament inserted, then cut off the exess. On the front of the case there is a clasp that has designed in supports that break off easily after printing (Note: slicer has to have 'print thin lines' enabled to recognize support).
No supports required. The case lid has built in supports that break away after printing. The rest of the model has chamfers and 45 degree angles so it can be printed without supports.
The screwdriver accepts 4mm/0.15inch bits directly or you can use (like I did) a bit extender that is 50 mm in lengh.
