The Amazing-Spider Man. Tadaa!
Some more super hero fan art, yay :) I've had this guy sculpted for maybe a month now, but honestly I've been too busy using my spare time to play video games to publish anything new (I had to finish God of War, and, well... then there was the Marvel's Spider-Man game, and now Assassin's Creed Odyssey...)
Anyways. Enjoy! Any questions, drop a comment or hit me up in a PM (which I know I've been lousy answering lately).
About the design
It was digitally sculpted in ZBrush as usual, using no fancy brushes or anything, 95% Dam Standard and Clay Buildup, and a lot of smoothing.
As you can tell around the shoulders this Spidey is inspired by the design in the game Marvel's Spider-Man, but not an exact copy. I kept the eyes more low-tech- and the web pattern is a bit different. I did struggle a lot with the spider logo on his chest, and I'm still not happy with it 100%.
The base. It's more advanced than I usually make them, but I wanted to give detailing it a bit more a try this time around. I normally dislike bases that are too detailed and complicated because I think it detracts from the main subject. It was fun, though, and I hope you guys like it :)
About printing this guy
He should only need supports under his chin, but if your printer lacks a part cooling fan you might want to add some others. If someone really wants a version without the rebar in the concrete, let me know.
This is fan art, provided for free, and I fully acknowledge the Spider-Man likeness is the property of Marvel Entertainment, LLC (The Walt Disney Company).
I printed this on my CR-10S using some basic PLA (from 3DNet, no affiliation), and the following settings:
Layer height: 0.12mm
Nozzle: 0.3mm
Perimeter: 0.9mm
Speed: 50mm/s (but S3D slows it down to 50% on the outer perimeter)
Top/bottom # layers: 6
Infill: 5% rectilinear
Print time: 17h 00m 18s

Thanks for the great model. My supports under chin got a bit wobbly, and a slight layer shift in the head (don't know what caused it). But nice model . Thanks

Incredibly well designed model. Thanks!
Great model, thank you very much! i have printed one in 100% size, 3 Shells 0,12mm Layer high, 10% infill in black cheap PLA on my Anycubic I3 Mega - the result is very nice. I have printed without support, the chin was a litte bit unclean, but that is no problem, i have fixed it after print. Thanks! Greetings from the north of germany

I love this print. Started my journey of painting on this about a month ago and painted too thick so stripped it back down and re did the bust. Still go a way to go with my painting but live printing these
0.06 mm. 15% infill. Support. No sand, only painted.
Awesome model. I flipped the normals on it in maya and ran it through netfabb for a little insurance. Came out amazing. Used cura tree supports and .2mm layer height. And printed it a little bigger. Awesome model!

Thanks to You! This model is awesome.
Thank you for these great models! Printed at 0.12mm, painted with spray paint (white primer, then metallic bronze). This is my first real try in painting a print, and I think it came out pretty good! :)
Printed hollow on the Anycubic Photon.
Awsome model
Thank you for sharing a very good design! I needed only a little support on the jaws, and no support was needed. However, for the sloping side, it may be necessary to set the output order to in-> out. I printed it out-> in and the sloping side was a bit rough. Everything is pleasant printing, always healthy and happy!
Ender 3 printing great print the inside shoulder a little rough printed with standard supports in cura

Printed with 0.1mm resolution. Did some sanding and light sand blasting for prep. Painted with water based acrylic paints and coated with satin clear. Turned out so well, I made extra one for a friend.
Such a rad mini. Decided to paint using the PS4 Spider-Man theme primarily with Citadel Contrast paints.
