Hello! This is my fourth puzzle box, I hope you like it J
It is really EASY to print and assemble, and you only need a rubber band.
This is a maze box, you have to reach the end to open the box. Because resolve a usual maze is very easy (you only have to follow the path), I designed it to be more difficult. First of all you can not see a clear path to the end, and also you not always see where is the ball bearing. And finally, the four gears opens or closes paths.
The ball bearing is 6mm. diameter, you can print it (as I do) or use a metal one if you have. If you use a small ball probably the lock will not open, so you have to scale down all the pieces. Also, if you print it I advice you to set 0.1mm layer height, low print speed and brim.
All the pieces are oriented in the right way to print them, almost without supports. Thats the reason I designed the box flat, this way you don’t need supports and also you can decorate it as you wish.
I remix the fish design from this:

And the hinges from this box, curiously also a steampunk box :P

Hi! Maybe I am missing something but how do you close the box and lock it? My dad and I are making it (pictures attached) but we can’t figure out how to lock the box once we do the maze. Does the maze have to be done in reverse to lock it again?
