Tube bracket for rectangular aluminum profile
Tube bracket for rectangular aluminum profile

This bracket was made to hold a 16 mm diameter tube on one end of an aluminum profile with an inner section of 28 x 13 mm.
I am sharing the Fusion 360 files so that you can customize it to match different tubes and profile sizes. I modeled it in a hurry so I am not super proud of the tidiness of the Fusion 360 file feature tree, but you should be able to adjust it without much problem. There are some basic parameters already, but beware that not all the features will update accordingly (sorry, this was made in a hurry).
I hope someone finds this useful. It would be nice to see some print photos of customized versions.
Enjoy!
Fasteners:
The version I printed used
M3 x 16 screws - 2
M3 x 10 screws - 2
M3 nuts - 2
You can of course change this using Fusion 360.
The nuts are held in place by the side slots on the insert part. I did not have any threaded inserts at hand. If you do, they are a better option than the nuts. Otherwise you can change the diameter of the insert holes and just thread the screws directly on the plastic - this will probably work fine as long as the bracket is not used to resist too much force.
For best part strength, I recommend printing the models in the orientation of the STL files (lying on the print bed).
I used a generic PLA filament, which worked just fine.
I used 0.2 mm as layer height.
