I completed this project a few months ago and highly recommend it. The designer did a great job with splitting the model into easy to print parts. I printed it at 115% to max out my Ender 5 print bed. The only problem I ran into was the pegs that connect the parts. Print them at a smaller % and test them out before gluing. I ran into problems where I thought the pegs fit until I tried to push the parts together while glued, then I had gaps. My other suggestion is to print the hands near solid. I did 10% gyroid infill to make it strong, but ended up breaking multiple fingers during assembly/painting. Printing those fingers solid would be worth the extra print time added.
It's great, it took me more than ten days to print him, a total of 4 printers were printing, and the painting took 5 days, but it was very worth it.
Took 3.5 days using two printers and 2.5 kg of filament. Printed at 100% and he stands 31 inches tall (somewhere around 70 cm) I had no issues with the connections they are not a perfect square so make sure you orient them correctly.
The Walking Fortress scaled up to 155% roughly 4ft tall in size printed on a flsun sr racer and a elegoo neptune 3 both using various colors of elegoo PLA.
Printed for charity. He raised over $700. The con goers decided to name him Fred. Printed at 110% sized.
