I love Rodin's work and this is an amazing model. The quality is A+. The model above is printed at 0.1mm layer height, with 3 top, and 3 bottom layers. It is 25% of the stock stl file size and printed with 2 perimeters, and 20% infill. There was no need to chance any settings to have this print wonderfully. It printed in 2 hours 15 mins at 40mm/s. I also printed it with auto supports for any overhang over 40 degrees.
As you can see its pretty nice. If I was to print this a second time I would use 3 perimeters, and add manual supports if possible. The reason for this is to prevent a very small hole on the nail of the ring finger(this was a size(25%) problem), and to make the supports a little easier to remove, as they can become entangled in the fingers if one isn't careful.
One thing I would recommend to the designer is to change the cylinder dowel to a square, or better yet an oval, so that the wrist and hand align spot on every time . The cylinder dowel is by default too small for the corresponding holes so reconsidering this component may be worth making this model a perfect model.
Thank you for providing this wonderfully expressive piece, and the detailed description to accompany it.
