I am trained as a Mechanical Engineer and over the years have gravitated towards additive manufacturing. I contract to a local research organisation who are running an additive manufacturing division. Because I am running the machines I get to play around with some BIG printers - an SLS printer running nylon and a somewhat scary DMP printer running Aluminium.
