I've been into Reprap since about 2006 and followed the project closely until I could afford to get started myself (I'm a big fan of their slogan: Wealth without money) but I did get going on it in 2012. It was a steep learning curve as I'm no electronic engineer, but studying Philosophy and Education helped give me the patience and the reason to complete my first Reprap, a Huxley. In 2013 I build a Foldarap, which being portable, now resides in my wife's hometown of Hanoi, Vietnam. In November 2014 I built a Berlin I3 with the fellows at Laydrop, and thats the machine I use on a day to day basis. The son of a draughtsman, design has never been too far from my mind, my favourite designer is natural selection. I did Graphic Communication over 2 years in high school and thats where I learned 3D modelling, I've been steadily improving ever since. I like collaborating with engineers, musicians, artists, actors, comedians and scientists, on anything from predator/prey simulations, to vegetable accessories.
