Design Brief

Time for another spare parts 3D design challenge! This time, we need you to design spare parts for musical instruments. If you're a musician, you probably know the struggle when an essential part of your favourite MIDI keyboard breaks or is damaged. With 3D printing, there is no longer a need to spend hundreds of dollars on replacement parts. Just design the part and print it!

Design a suitable musical instrument spare part before November 6th to be in with a chance to win a Sindoh 3DWox DP200.

The Sindoh DP200 is one of the newer user-friendly, auto-loading filament and real-time print monitoring 3D printers in the 3DWox series.

About Sindoh

Established in 1960, Sindoh has been equipping and striving for the best. Entering the 3D printing market in 2016, their time has not gone unnoticed. Focused on getting the inexperienced equipped, Sindoh’s user-friendly features are top of the range.

The part should be adapted for 3D printing. It must work on your vehicle and not already exist on MyMiniFactory! As always each spare parts design competition has unlimited entries and the winner is chosen at random, so the more you upload, the greater your chance of winning.

Upload Essentials

  • Two photos - one on plain background, and one next to/ or in the instrument or piece of gear it is from (in use)
  • The brand name and model of the musical instrument or gadget

  • Submissions close on November 6th 2018.

Please keep in mind that remixing an object by adding a logo will not be considered as a valid entry.

    Good luck!
