Description
Pietro Canonica (1869–1959), the author of this piece, was an Italian sculptor, painter, opera composer, professor of arts and senator for life. After the Vow (originally Dopo il voto) shows a girl who has finished her vow and seems to be in thought, possibly about the consequences.
This is the cast of the 1893 marble, bronze and stone sculpture
