Inspired by sea anemones, this two-part print helps spruce-up a Gen 2 Amazon Echo Dot.

The Sea Anemone top has a hole in the middle so all buttons are still accessible, and vents placed around the entire microphone perimeter to allow for the dot to hear you. Also, for a glowing effect when the dot wakes up, use some translucent filament! I'd recommend printing this with some infill. My currently printed model did not have infill and while it glows great, there are some rough spots in the print because of overhangs.
The 'stone' look base allows for sound to travel through. I recommend printing this by standing it up on the flat end. It only requires minor infil and most of it can actually print without it, just some detail at the front may get lost without infill.
Both fit together to add a striking look for the Echo dot, but still gives complete access to the plugs and the Amazon logo on the front when you look closely.
Anemone Top: i'd recommend some infill but you may have to play around with it. This is a big print that takes a while, so any time savings is important! For the print in the images I used 0% infill and while it completed, it is definitely not the quality I wanted with a slight layer-shift mid-way up the print. Printing in translucent filament gives a great glowing effect to the whole thing as well. Also, this part of the print does require supports from the build-plate to handle a big overhang for the hole where the Echo Dot fits. This print took me about 17 hours total.
Base: 8-10% infill for the base worked great for me. i had a couple tets at 5% that did ok as well. A good quality print with infill of this item took me about 5-6 hours.
