Antoine Bechamp is the father of the Terrain theory, a major theory that empowers humanity to take care of itself as it explains our medical condition in relation to our body/mind/soul (the Terrain) and not to any external possible harmful germs. Bechamp lived in the 19th Century at the same time of Louis Pasteur who has championned the Germ Theory.
In the last few years a larger community of prominent scientits have embraced Bechamp theory.

Bechamp received a doctor of science degree in 1853 and doctor of medicine in 1856. He went on being a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Strasbourg, then Montpellier, and later dean of the Catholic Faculty of Medicine at Université Lille Nord de France.
