Are you a Builder who likes science and Mechanics or just a person who is starting off! Then this the toy for you. These small robot hands are actually Basic universal joints in SLT format. This joint can be scaled down and can be used in toys or as fidget toys (spread your imagination). Thick paper or plastic is hot glued over the holes of the york to prevent the cross from coming out (only after assembly). This Single Universal Joint takes the constant velocity input and turns it into a fluctuating output, in order to turn it into a constant velocity output another universal joint need to be stuck on the fluctuating output which makes a Double Universal Joint. So now if a constant velocity input gives a fluctuating output, a fluctuating input can give a constant velocity output.
Thank you for coming into my first design in MyMiniFactory, also if I made any mistakes please let me know in the comments.
- I suggest printing the object in pieces and then assembling them for smoother movement
- Print the Yorks in 0.2 mm
- Print the cross in 0.05 mm
- 15% infill
