Description
Sculpted by Louis Guillaume Fulconis, this bust shows Princess Mathilde Bonaparte, the niece of Napoleon Bonaparte, a prominent aristocrat from the Second French Republic.
Louis Guillaume Fulconis was a French sculptor born in 1818 and known for making official sculptures that adorn public buildings, churches and offices.
The bust currently stands on display in the Musee D'orsay in Paris, France
