This is Luke's Collapsing Lightsaber. Similar to the other collapsing prints that are found on my page and 3DPRINTINGWORLD's page. There are 3 parts, a hilt and cap and the printable blade. The blade is removeable in the event you want to change the color.
In order for this print to turn out, the settings have to be put just right so the shells don't fuse together. I had a difficult time finding the right settings posted by other makers, so I hope these settings help someone who wants to print this:
I work with a Creality Ender 3, v2 and use Simplify3D as a slicing software.
Layer Height/Resolution: 0.20mm
Infill: 10%
Nozzle Size: 0.4mm
Extrusion: 1.00, Width (Auto)
Retraction Distance: 5.00mm
Retraction Speed: 2400 mm/min
Coast Distance: 0.20mm
Wipe Distance: 5.00mm
Use a Raft to help bed adhesion, and use a small amount of supports for the tip feature.
Filament: Hatchbox3D Gray PLA & TTYT3D Silk Green PLA
