Bronze by Andrea del Verrocchio (1435-1488) with a height of 126 cm commissioned by Laurent and Julien de Medicis in the years 1472-1475. Preserved in Florence (Italy) at the National Museum Bargello. David (a young Jewish son of a shepherd) kills Goliath (giant, hero of the Philistines) with a slingshot, before cutting off his head.
