I'm a product design student so I went rather full on with this idea. A whole new system for the shelfes and not just a simple bracket on the front but a whole rail along the shelves. So its probably rather a lot of printing for this idea. There's a whole new bracket design, filament spool holders, rails and the carriages to go on those rails. The shelves need a little respacing too, from 9.5 inch gap up to 11 inch. Was a nice project to fill the University summer break. Also as a student money is kinda tight and so I dont have my own printer and even if i did with the size of the things ive desgned it wouldve taking weeks to print. That means it hasnt been tested other than in cad.

The idea was to be creative and I ran with that. Taking inspiration from the sliding ladders you get at some libraries I ended up with the filament carriages. So you can easily move the filament up and down the rail if you need to get to another on the shelf behind.

It's all printed parts. No bearings or anything. Should all work still though... Wanted it to all be printed and have no outside components.
