this is my entry for the contest, i wanted to do something practical and that can be of use everyday, and so i made this kaiser blade cover for the light switch. In the photo you can see how it will look over the light switch...my painting skills are not that great xD.
EDIT. - i reprinted it and painted it slower and more carefull xD, now it looks "ok"...still, painting is not my thing haha
its a 3 piece model, the back (back of the shield)that is bolted over the original light switch, the on/off switch (sword), and the front piece (front of the shield),the front and back piece are just press together no bolts or glue is needed =D!, to use it pull the sword up so the light switch go up, or push it down so the light switch goes down.
i printed it with a .3 nozzle and .24 layer height, my slicer profile was tuned for .1 layer height XD, the print came out not as good as it could be, but i was afraid of not making it in time if i reprinted the model =(. it took almost 4 hours to print
