Glue, Accelerator and Light Machine Oil Caddy
Glue, Accelerator and Light Machine Oil Caddy

No springs, no motors, no gears; just a compartmentalized box.
I designed this compartmentalized box to securely hold the glues, accelerators and light machine oils I use while assembling machined and/or 3D printing projects. Protecting the glues, accelerators and light machine oils from being bowled down by my errant desktop tested designs (e.g. "Windup Helicopter") and spilling across the desk, this caddy keeps them securely in place in the "highly likely" event of a collision, especially the glues (minimizes trips to the acetone tank).
Trammel the build plate before printing. I've added hold down disks to the corners to assist in avoiding warping.
Designed using Sketchup Make 2015, and printed in PLA on a Makerbot Replicator 2 using Makerware 2.3.3.42 "Standard" Settings (.2mm layer height, 2 shells, 10% infill).
Trammel the build plate before printing. Takes a long time to print.
I added hold down disks to the corners to assist in avoiding warping. After printing, carefully remove them with a modeling knife.
