Välkommen till Göteborg!
This model dates back to 2014, shortly after creator Danny Sanchez visited Gothenburg. This was one of his first models for MiniWorld, it is now finally published!
The Museum of Art of Gothenburg, or Göteborgs konstmuseum holds the world's finest collection of late 19th century Nordic art. It also houses older and contemporary art, both Nordic and international. The collection includes, for example, Monet, Picasso and Rembrandt.
The building by architect Sigfrid Ericson was finished in 1924, celebrating the city's 300th anniversary, and represents the monumental Neo-Classical style in Nordic architecture. It is built of a yellow brick called ”Gothenburg brick” because of the material's frequent use in the city (from Wikipedia).
This model also includes the statue of Poseidon by Carl Milles, a famous landmark in Gothenburg itself, located in front of the Museum.
MiniWorld is excited to bring this historical model to life! All models are made by hand and brain from scratch in SolidWorks or Fusion360 to ensure printability, please give credit, it's all about spreading culture and education!
MiniWorld is the collection of 3D printable models of landmarks of the world!
