A common accessory for phones is an external stand.  I have created here instead a handy portable phone stand that's always attached to your iPhone.

I wanted to see if I could create a stand within the 2mm height of the backplate template.  The two pieces of the stand rotate out around pins inserted into the side of the backplate.

The top piece slides into the notched bottom piece, providing stability at multiple viewing angles.

You'll need to print this with some support, as the pins are printed in place in the middle of the holes.  It's likely the external support will lightly fuse the base of the pieces to the side of the template, right at the point where the pins enter the template, so you may need to carefully cut that away, making sure not to damage the pins.

Then very carefully work the pieces loose of the internal support, which should break away from the pins easily. This will not be the most robust stand, but it is light and portable.
