This is one of the ways you were welcomed to the ancient city of Babylon!
This model was created by MiniWorld 3D collaborator Zuknaini "Izu" Mohd Sabri, aka Tinkerzon.
It depicts the brightly colored Isthar Gate, once a wonder of the ancient world (dethroned out of the main 7). This model includes the whole double gate as it was originally built in Babylon, not just the smaller first one that can be seen today in Berlin's Pergamon Museum.
The Ishtar Gate was the eighth gate to the inner city of Babylon (in present-day Hillah, Babil Governorate, Iraq). It was constructed in about 575 BCE by order of King Nebuchadnezzar II on the north side of the city. It was part of a grand walled processional way leading into the city. The walls were finished in glazed bricks mostly in blue, decorated with low reliefs in intervals of lions, dragons and bulls, representing deities, including Ishtar, to whom the gate was dedicated.
It is a controversial archeological treasure because it was excavated by German archeologitsts in the early 20th century, and smuggled out of Iraq to Germany, where it is partly reconstructed since the end of WWI in the Pergamon Museum. Iraq has requested its return several times but there is debate about its safety due to Iraq's instability (from Wikipedia).
MiniWorld3D is excited to bring this model to life as a homage to all people of Iraq. Please give credit, it's all about spreading culture and education!

Easy print, no supports, rafts or brims required. The arches support themselves well, especially at slow speeds and great cooling.
Print slow, and at best quality or scaled up for best details of the reliefs. Stringing is likely in the battlements, lots of retractions happen there.
