This is the motorization for project :

Because the M6 threaded rod is a pain to screw in and out I've come with the idea of a motorization to easier the use of the vise, hope you enjoy .
You will need:
Double pole, double throw switch for reversing the motor polarity.
(my button needed a 20x22mm hole)
DC motor (I used one from a old VHS with some torque - diameter 26mm and 2mm shaft)
9V battery
some wire
4 small srcews (hole diameter 2,5mm)
2x M6 nut
and a bearing(inside diameter : 7mm / outside diameter: 12mm ).
note: I've uploaded 2 boxes one like mine and an other with a center small hole to you make a hole accordingly with your button dimentions.
