Y-Axis motor mount for Astrosyn MY17RMDAMP. Recommended revision is D.
Prototype (not available)
1. bracing against yaw torque from belt tension
2. widened mounting collar to be symmetric for easier assembly
Revision B added features
1. thinner body to reduce print time
2. offset mounting to accommodate Astrosyn damper while keeping stock mounting points
3. access hole if damper-to-motor screw (if damper is mounted first)
3. access hole for pulley grub screw
Revision C (no longer available)
1. much more robust body structure
2. widened grub screw access hole
3. more reinforced damper contact
Revision D
1. needed space for planned 90° chassis brace so shrunk brace
2. overbuild found unnecessary as chassis skew caused belt binding
3. Rev B works but could be bent when forced, rev D will break before bending
MeshMixer was used to provide support structure not Cura.
Note that Revision B should 100% infill.
