Rolly Skeleton
Rolly Skeleton

A skeleton of a toroid, mathematically generated (thanks again MathMod). Play with this on your desk, but watch out for it rolling away.
One gray image is an animated png file and the other animated gif, based on images taken in MeshLab: only some browsers can handle the animation though.
Generated for the Sinterit Lisa competition.
Not much point trying to print this on a filament printer, unless you really like spreading filament everywhere just to make a mess. However, I did use Cura to shrink it to a printable size for the Sinterit Lisa, and it did splice. Just for reference, in ABS, Cura says 11 grams.
Sorry, no details about printing on Sinterit Lisa - I don't have one to try it!
