To do 'our bit' in order to reduce single use plastics (no throw away bottles and bags, packaging wherever possible), we've started having our milk delivered in old school glass bottles. As part of the deal, you have to rinse these things out and no modern drainer is designed in a way that lets you stand the bottles in a stable manner. I got a little fed up with balancing our bottles so designed this simple stand for the drainer.
Designed so that it does not need supports to prrint.
Ideal layer setting 0.2
Outlines/Shells: 3 to 5
Infill: 10%
Top/bottom layers: 3 to 5.
Milk bottles require rinsing but will be fully cleaned when they are returned to the plant. Any filament would be OK but if you want to clean the stand in a dishwasher, use PETG or ABS. I know ABS is a bit of an oxymoron when talking about green issues but this design will last for years before it has to be disposed of, unlike a plasitc milk bottle or bag.
