Valerna’s night sky forms a familiar pattern. Stargazers from around the realms have grown used to the pattern. A new story is weaving. A hero has been awakened. A destiny has been claimed for the shaping.

Our tribe is growing, and having reached our first landmark, we introduce your very first stretch goal.

Lair has been working on the Dragonbond universe for quite a while. We have tested, created and shared so many things. Today, we are proud to present the first of our Throwback Models: the skorpikon reaver.

As a Stretch Goal, our throwback models bring together any sculpts that were released in our wargame’s previous stage. Throughout last year, the Dragonbond campaigns, Battles of Valerna, came out on kickstarter. The community’s support was amazing, and it led us to take an amazing step in the wargame’s history.

The game design team at River Horse are coming up with some fascinating concepts for the final version of the Wargame: Dragonbond Onslaught. As the full game comes closer, we bring back the units that make up the armies of Battles of Valerna. Every month, as well as the STLs, supports, editable Lychee files, and RPG content, you receive as part of our tribe, you will also get a unit from one of the four armies from the game: Allaria, Ysval, Nahuac, and Tyveria. These monthly throwbacks, found in your monthly rewards, also include an art bite, so you can learn more about the role everything plays in Dragonbond.

The stretch goals will continue to grow the more people join, and many of them will make your collection bigger.

Only our first goal, the Throwback Models, is included in your monthly rewards. General Metka, the Bucentaur, which unlocks at 700 tribers, will be included in the intro pack. Since this intro pack is updated every month, you will always have access to anything new that becomes unlocked, as long as your membership continues.

On this stretch goal we also introduce our Onslaught Adventures. These self-contained, one shot adventures are part of a different project within the world of Dragonbond. Live through the world of Dragonbond with your own eyes.

Yes. This does mean there will be more than one adventure per season.

At 800 tribers, you will find four Mun Kisuut Infiltrator units from Nahuacto add to your collection.This is in addition to Metka, and is not part of the monthly rewards.

On 900 tribers, you get six Dreamshaper spies for your army from the Dragon Kingdom of Allaria.

At 1000 tribers there will be a lot of cheering, and you will get Zaarud, Daimos of Consumption. A big number merits a big reward. Daimoi (plural for Daimos) are ancient folk who have been transformed by the insidious nature of the Hollowdepths. Their Vaala, that energy that courses through all things in Valerna, has become corrupted.

Circling back, remember that only the Throwback Models will become monthly rewards. The rest of this batch of Stretch Goals are going into the intro pack.

Season 3 - The Sepakis Process

The northern seas, neighbors to Ysval and frozen shelter to glaciers and ice, host an entire civilization of sikari—blue elves,, scientists who reshaped themselve. The Arkane Dominion of Sikaria is a conglomerate of universities led by blue elves who practice all sorts of experiments on the world around them, and themselves. Yet not even these frozen waters are too far for the Nwoda to travel to in their mesmerizing flying ships.

Recently, one such ship lost part of their crew there. Mahamu and Arasi, the captain’s twins, are gone, and rumors suggest they were located under the frozen waters. The party, in searching for the twins as a mercenary job for the captain, will unravel a secret that puts the very people of Tenufos Akademis and the Arkane Dominion in danger.

The third season begins in March, and on the first month you will receive the following STLs, along with supports, editable Lychee files and RPG information:

Kaimera: a mutated lifeform, altered by the experiments of sikari sages. Kaimerai are the embodiment of the blue elves’ goal: to play with the laws of life.
Sikari Kaimeran: the leaders of the Sikarian army; combat alchemists with the ability to quickly modify, empower or rally other Sikarian units, even summoning new creatures into battle.
Sikari Keraunos: living lightning specialists, with the ability to channel electrical currents through their living crystals.
School of Life, Wizard subclass: A supplement for the Wizard class that focuses on the rules of life and Kaab, the life aspect of Vaala.

The tribe works through seasons, each lasting three months. Each of those months, you will get three rewards (plus the throwback model). Each of these STLs corresponds to something linked to the season’s adventure. The adventure is always available to you for download during the season until the season is over.

Painting Competition

We also host a miniature painting competition every season. The top 3 contestants get free memberships of varying levels, and a lucky, randomly picked contestant gets a one month subscription. You may win just by participating.
