I am a designer and Maker, i got into 3d printing as a way to make real some of my models that were too expensive and complicated to do by most typical means. I have been using 3D printers for around 9 years. My first printer was a Reprap/repstap i cobbled together on less then your typical 16 year old's allowance. from there i have made and used a wide variety of machines and software. My design work ranges from the mundane, a cell phone case or controller display, to the extreme, a sculpture of a Beholder held in a daemons hand or and entire scene of craziness.
