The Twisted Mood lamp entry for the ElectroMaker kits Competition.
This lamp can be print on a FDM or combination of FDM for the Stem and Shade Inner and SLA/DLP for the Shade outer pieces (if you want to have a more glossy finish), however you have endless possibilities with FDM for the shade, like Silky PLA or even Wood PLA for a more natural finish.
- If you opt for the resin printed shade, you most likely will have a standard sized SLA/DLP printer, for that reason I had split the Shade outer into 4 pieces that you can joint together with the means that you are most comfortable with.
- I have included a picture of the layout I used in Chitubox for your reference
I used a syringe with resin and a small UV LED.
I would recommend using a CLEAR PLA for the Shade Inner.
Assembly:
- When you asseble the shade, you have to glue the Shade.stl to the Shade base.stl, then insert the Shade Inner.stl and then lastely the Shade top.stl
- The Shade.stl require supports to ensure your print not failing.
- For the Stem, I have split it into 2 pieces, Stem.stl and Stem top.stl, the is so that you would not require any supports, you just have to glue the 2 pieces together.

Shade Inner - print in a clear PLA
Shade outer - any FDM, try different Leyer heights for different finished or SLA/DLP (use the Shade ourter 4 piece)
