Wood, polychome gesso anthropoid coffin with a large broad collar with a multitude of figurative scenes and hieroglyphs, including passages from the Book of the Dead. This identifies the deceased occupant as a chantress, connecting her to Osiris, god of the Underworld, and thus guaranteeing her eternal passage through the Afterlife.
The base of the sarcophagus can be downloaded here.
