Astaria Shan was a young girl when she started researching the ways of the warlock. She did so in order to help the people who were dying to a plague in her village, with the thought “If you can’t cure them, maybe I can bring them back”.
She was truly devoted to learning magic and was successful at the beginning, slowly starting to help those afflicted with the deadly disease. This motivated her to keep researching further and further until her studies led her to make a pact with the wrong entity. She continued to bring back the people that died to the plague, only that this time they came back as monsters and atrocities. This kind of failure dug deep into the mind of Astaria, opening a way for her evil patron to infect her soul with his dark power, making her work to raise an army for when he decided to come back to the mortal realm.
She now made her den at the very heart of the swamp, preparing to bring forth her dark lord.
