This is a prototype Y6 brushed micro quad. I am not done with the design just yet, so this is a work in progress. The frame design holds 6 8.5X20 brushed motors and I designed the frame to accommodate a 2s lipo pack. It uses the same Sp Racing F3 Evo Flight Controller as my other micro quads. This is much more of an experiment than my MX XIII micro quad which flies awesome. I have yet to fly this frame extensively enough to say that it flies well. Feel free to try it out and let me know what you think!
I used PLA/PHA for this frame and printed with a lower infill like around 10 or 15 to help keep weight down. Because of the organic shaped, this frame does not need as much infill to print.
- 210 C hotend
- 80 C Heated Bed
- Cooling fans on max
- 0.2mm layer
Standard PLA settings should work fine, this is not a difficult print.
