These sailors supplement the free generic sailor set for the times around about the Napoleonic Wars. They are designed to interact with the guns on the deck of your ship. Some of their equipment here is thicker than it would be in real life to enable printing out at scales of up to 1:150. The native scale is 1:72 in the files (see the mini-diorama here), so reduce the size as necessary to fit the scale of your ship.
The ship that my first set is going on is my 1:150 scale Temeraire class battleship (the large Work-in-Progress that is also shown in some of my pictures), so I gave them all moustaches. A second set has the same poses but wearing sailors' hats and proper sideburns.
Update 23.04.2021: A crew needs a cannon to work with. You probably already have plenty of those. Just in case, though, here is a (12 lb.) medium-size (French-style ca. 1770) one from among my spare part designs .stl collection. Also, crew member "d" who was previously holding the sponge now holds a combined sponge and rammer.
Update 09.05.2021: English cannon crew added. No moustaches, but with sideburns and hats. The cannon in my pictures is not included in the set.
These print out OK on my Elegoo Mars at scales up to 1:150 - 45 degrees seems to work best and is what the Chitubox screenshot shows. The result at 1:150 scale (50% orig. size) and 0.05mm layer height is shown in the pictures - what worked for me was to ensure a sufficient exposure time (>= 10 seconds per layer) and liberal use of supports. Since the models have some fine details, make sure figures are removed from the supports and trimmed before you cure and paint them. As mentioned above, adding string through the cannon loops is possible if you are a real detailing fanatic, but I only do it before my resin has been cured.....you can use the 3D printable Block 1 from my Vikings accessories post here too, scaled down to whatever size you require.
