Printed on my CR-10 at 60 mm/s with PLA.
Like on my other puzzle, I do two different colors. I just use it to indicate to top and bottom of the puzzle, and I think it makes the puzzle look a lot more finished. I just do a few layers in one color, and then switch it to another color for the top. Real simple! On this particular puzzle, I did the colors about half and half. It really doesn't matter how much you do, even if you don't switch at all, you will most likely still enjoy it! I hope!
The puzzle is just under 80mm, and the case is about 88mm. They could be printed at the same time if you want.
I would say 5% infill for the puzzle, (and the case too) is more than plenty. The pieces are pretty small and they seem to hold themselves together pretty well. Plus they're not under any significant stress, or heavy loads.
The times to print and material quantity abounts below are including both the puzzle, and the frame.
- The Puzzle itself takes about 1 hour 13 minutes to print, and uses 13g of filament.
- The frame take about 51 minutes, and takes 12g of filament.
