Description
Found at Aigeira. The hand belonged to a larger than a life-size cult statue of the god, carved by the Athenian sculptor Eukleides, according to the travel-writer of the 2nd c. AD. Pausanias. This left arm of the statue of Zeus is bent at the elbow.
