I was looking at entries for the TinkerChristmas Design Challenge and trying to think of something fun to make when I thought about a Christmas tree made up of snowflakes, but that didn't quite fit the theme. Then I thought about my Creeper Snowflake Ornament and the lightbulb went off! It might not be the most creative project, but I'm super proud that it worked out! Like my other projects, I decided to make this with some assembly required to avoid support material (there is a little tiny bit needed for the top of the tree, but that's it!).
It is set up to be an ornament with a little diamond loop at the top, but it can also stand just fine on its own.
I don't think it is too difficult to figure out how it goes together, but I have a nice tutorial to show you how it all fits together.
I'm still new to 3D design and printing. Having made this, if I were to print this project again, I would want to add another layer between each layer to make the tree look more full, but I'm still happy with it the way it is :)
