When it comes to video creation and Instagram photos, lighting is one of the most important reasons for great captures. I needed a custom ring light for my videos and Instagram photos; the light had to be cheap, easy to make and use the electronics I had access too. I designed, 3D printed and assembled the entire lighting system.
The light has become our daily light setup when capturing photos and videos.
The models are printed in PETG Plastic with a 20 % infill (some areas have a 0% infill but increased shells) and printed with 0.28 mm layer height. PETG was used due to the heat generated by the LEDs.
