This shotgun shell is used when trying to "shotgun" a drink. Using this device will give you a shotgun hole that is repeatable with no spilling. The key to this design is the angle at which the shotgun shell lays while the hole is punctured. There will be an air pocket here reducing the chances of spray.
When making the shotgun hole, center the puncture pin within the circle.
