Description
I tried to source some designs on thingiverse but they were mostly designed to fit the Replicator 2X wider carriage, or required a custom 3D Printed Carriage, which meant a smaller printing area.
So I set to design my own compact E3D Extruder Mount that will not shrink my print area on the bed.
The design is simple, it mounts on the Replicator 2 smaller single extruder X carriage.
Its easier to be assembled if the printed parts and the E3D Hotend is assembled first, before mounting the whole assembly to the carriage.
Printing Details
Since this is close to a heat source,
Recommend printing with something better.
I printed with PETG
4 walls with 30% infill for strength.
