Description
This is the more famous of Eugene Delaplanche's twin sculptures showing Eve contemplating the original sin. This sculpture contrasts the innocence of its later sibliing by showing her devastation and world-weariness.
The sculpture now stands in the Musee D'Orsay Paris, France
