Description
This funerary stele can be considered more of a 'cippus' type, with a curved niche that borders on the field of the pediment. On the top there are two small lions, which serve the symbolic meaning of guardians of the sepulchre. Within the niche are the two diceased: the place of honour is reserved for the woman, to the right of the deceased, according to Roman tradition. Under the two busts, inside a small niche with curves is a portrait of a child.
