Start the sub assembly with the crankshaft.

Lay the counterweight flat part up, insert the 24mm rod in the outer hole and lay down a bead of cyanoacrylate. Lay a 1 MM Washer on top of this followed by the bearing and beads of cyanoacrylate between them. Don't use too much cyanoacrylate, little goes a long way. after the bearing has been laid down push fit the big end of a connecting rod on it. lay another 1 MM washer on top of this followed by the second counter weight this time flat side up. Repeat this 3 times. now you have the 3 subassemblies required for the crankshaft.

Insert the 14 mm rod between the 3 subassemblies ensuring that each counterweight is 90 degrees to the previous one eg: 270 degrees, 360 degrees, 090 degrees (refer to my pictures) after the crankshaft has been assembled insert the connecting rods into each of the cylinder (keep the offset in mind). After this you can assemble all the pistonts using the gudeon pins provided, no glue is required here it should be a nice tight fit. The small end of the connecting rod must NOT be tight on the gudeon pin it must remain really lose, to ensure this you may need to sand the inner part of the small end of the connecting rod.

Assemble the cylinder heads next, the open source hardware inserts will be a really tight fit on the cylinder heads (by design) may require a flat surface and some force. Once the cylinder heads are assembled, glue the cylinders to the crank case (cutaway side up). Glue the cylinder heads to the top of the cylinders.

The crankcase is now ready for final assembly. Push fit the bearings on either side of the crank case. The outer planetary gear will slide into the planetary gear bearing housing and the whole assembly will be push fit on top of the bearing, followed by the 3 middle gears and the pin for each of them. The pins on the middle gears will go all the way through the crank case, if too tight you can lightly sand the mushroom part of the pins. The inner gear can now slide into place, the shaft for this will slide directly into the crankshaft assembly. It is slightly oversized so you will have to lightly sand the shaft till it fits 'just right' between the bearing. This will provide a really nice fit, lay down some cyanoacrylate between the shaft and the ID of the bearings.

Now assemble the prop, slide all three prop blades into the spinner ensuring a counterclockwise movement of the blades. Slide the prop securing pin between the blades and the spinners. Slide the prop shaft in the center of the spinner use cyanoacrylate to secre everything in place. Slide the prop shaft into the bearing and this will slide all the way to the crankshaft. Secure the shaft in place with cyanoacrylate.

This concludes the assembly. The whole assembly is not really that complicated but requires that you take your time and follow the sequence correctly, ensure everything is as square as possible and that the glue has been used on the correct parts (too much glue can enter the bearings and sieze them). I highly reccomend sanding the insides of the cylinder bore, this will really give the pistons a smooth travel.
