This time I made a HUD Holder with Glass Mount Holder.
Recently I just got a Van, and the tires on it are oversized so it throws off my Speed by about 3-4 mph.
so I purchased a HUD from eBay installed it and worked great.
However where ever I mounted the HUD in my van the reflective image would either be twisted or double imaged.
So I designed this Holder to hold the HUD in one place and use self sticking 3M stickers to hold it in Place.
The HUD I purchased from eBay came with its own Transparent/Reflective screen, which is great but where ever I placed it didn't work. so I designed the holder to hold a piece of glass which is 1/16 inch or 2.3 mm thick which will hold the Reflective film in one spot and also not make the image from the HUD distorted.
As you can see in the pictures it work out a lot better then I hoped.
V1 had a 2.5 mm track which worked great, but if you hit a larger bump or pot hole it fell off or moved.
Version 2 has a 2.3 mm track which keeps the glass snug and doesn't slide or pop off.
Version 2 is also a little narrower to fit exactly on steering Colum and in front of original Speedometer.
Which ever version you decide on will work, I've tried both and Version 2 works better for my needs.
