Improved Snoopy Sno Cone Machine Locking Cap
Improved Snoopy Sno Cone Machine Locking Cap

The handle locking cap on the Snoopy Sno Cone machine has a design flaw: the cap locks on clockwise, in the same direction as the handle rotation. If a piece of ice jams against the lock, the pressure will twist the cap in the unlocking direction. This causes the cap to unfailingly pop off several times in each sno cone making session. I wanted a locking cap that attaches in the opposite direction.
There is another Snoopy Sno Cone locking cap design, which I was not aware of when I drew this (or I might not have bothered). It does not look like it is subject to the same failing as the original as it uses a different mechanism. My design is a faithful reproduction of the original, but with the locking direction reversed.
Instructions
Print with the handle up. Only the outer overhang needs to be supported, if you can control your slicer's support placement.
