This is a minimalist design keyboard case for the KBD67 mechanical keyboard by KBDFans. It's designed to be printable in one piece on a 300x300mm printer. It is not only a set of static STL files, but also includes a fully parametric CAD file for Fusion 360 which can be used to easily customize and modify the design to your liking using the parameters. You will need to download Fusion 360 and get a license. There are free licenses available for students, individual creators and small startups.
The design is completely driven by the shape of the brass plate. The top of the case is the exact same shape as the perimiter of the plate, then the walls taper out with an organic curve to a wider base. This makes the case appear to grow out from the plate.
There is an accompanying spacer which clips directly into the hole in the brass plate. This separates the right control key from the arrow cluster.
The brass plate simply screws directly onto the case using the standard M2 screws which thread into the plastic holes. No threaded inserts required.
Finally, I've included a spacer that goes between the plate and PCB in case you don't have the metal spacer hardware. If you didn't buy their official case which comes with the hardware, you can email them asking to be sent just the hardware and they should be able to add it to a new order.
I recommend printing this flat on the build plate with 0.2mm layer heights but you can go smaller if you want. You will have to rotate it 45 degrees on the build plate to fit on a 300x300mm printer like the CR-10S or similar.
The spacer should be printed upside-down, with the clips facing up.
