The dimensions of this marble portrait, juvenile and idealistic of a man, is much larger than life. This indicates that it represents a heroic person. It was made in the 11th Century and can be found on permanent display at the Petit Palais in Paris, given as a gift by Christian Dior from the collection 'Detuit' in 1995.
